WORKPLACE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

Harrison Assessment & Career Development Report

As part of this programme, you will be required to complete the Harrison Assessment online questionnaire. Completing this questionnaire will allow us to provide you with a Career Development report that identifies your strong interests, task preferences, and work environment preferences. Your coach will spend time in a 1-1 debrief session explaining the information in the report and discussing the data with you. Seeking employment where you can make the best use of your strong areas will increase your work satisfaction and likelihood of success. This report will help you to make a difference on your CV and give you confidence when answering interview questions.

Coaching Sessions

You will receive a 1-1 private coaching session where you will have the opportunity to explore your development further. Your coach will be your sounding board to discuss your career in confidence. This will allow you to discuss your progress on the programme at that point, what’s working well for you, and the areas where you require further assistance. Your coach will guide you through this discussion in a relaxed and confidential environment.

Workplace Training

Throughout the programme, you will receive training in some of the necessary soft skills that we all require in the workplace. We’ll take a look at how to develop and manage your ‘self’ with confidence while understanding the importance of good communication and assertiveness skills when dealing with others. We’ll explore the meaning of diversity, ethics, and accountability while delving into the importance of being a team player. There’ll be plenty of time for group work and exercises to help create an open and interactive environment and a fun learning experience.
