With the onset of Covid-19 and the implications of physical distancing and restrictions, more and more businesses are looking online to sell their products and services. The government has responded with Trading Online Vouchers to support organisations in making this happen. The Build an Online Shop with Shopify course is aimed at people who wish to know how to build their own website using the Shopify platform. Shopify is an e-Commerce software that allows business owners to set up an online shop and start selling without any design or technical knowledge.

This course will guide the participants through setting up their own Shopify website, choosing a theme for their website, adding pages, adding products, setting prices and shipping rates, setting up the payment system and integrating it with other platforms including your website, email and Facebook. You will be given helpful hints and tips and prompted with questions to ask yourself such as around the areas of website management, updates, etc. No prior knowledge of Shopify is necessary and no specific website technical skills are necessary.
